Belial, the ruler of all Makai (the demon world) and Morrigan Aensland's adoptive father, foresaw that the land would be exposed to the crisis of perishing, and surmised that someone with great power would be needed to maintain his unbalanced world. Using his near omnipotent foresight, he predicted that one which such power would not be born in the family of Aensland for another twelve thousand years. Knowing this, he personally selected Morrigan as his immediate heir.

Morrigan was a very special succubus; she was born as an "S class" noble. But at that time, a struggle for power had already started between the noble houses. Numerous battles had occurred in various locations, and it was unacceptable for a succubus child to be given such rights to power. To complicate matters further, Morrigan had no way to control the enormous powers that she held within herself; if she were to be left unguided, she would destroy herself and the land around her. Thus, Belial decided to split her powers and isolate them in order to protect her; Morrigan's soul was split into two, and one of the halves was isolated in a negative space that Belial had specifically created.

However, her powers could not simply be split down the middle. Because her powers were forcefully divided, they kept drawing towards each other. To counter this effect, Belial took part of her powers and sealed it within himself. So Morrigan's soul had been divided into three; one in Morrigan, one in the sealed space and one in Belial's body. And when these would become one, Morrigan could regain her full power.

When Belial died, the sealed-off power was supposed to return to its rightful owner, and once this was complete, the next ruler of Makai was supposed to be born, as Belial foresaw it. But because the part which Belial contained had been lost, Morrigan's power had not returned to full strength. Also, something had occurred in the sealed space that even Belial himself did not notice; the sealed-off power had begun to have its own will. It had begun to recognize itself roughly a decade after the sealing process. And as it found out about Makai, its feelings grew. But these feelings were different from normal emotions like admiration and jealousy. They were closer to a primitive instinct to return home.

The demon Jedah, sensing the energy, released it and gave it a body, that of a smaller, more cheerful succubus which Jedah had named Lilith. And in return, it... now she... was to lure Morrigan and the other Darkstalkers to him. Lilith seemed to enjoy her life until she realized that she was not the "original;" she was only a part of another person. She also discovered that she often became transparent and realized, to her horror, that she had limited time to find her "soul mate," in order to continue her existence. Morrigan discovered Lilith's existence, and felt that Lilith was indeed a part of her, but she did not feel she needed Lilith as badly as Lilith needed her. Jedah realized this, and he manipulated Lilith to meet Morrigan so he could use them both to extend his power. But Lilith suspected that Jedah was lying to her, and pleaded to Morrigan to take her back. Relenting, Morrigan absorbed Lilith back into herself, leaving her, like Lilith, with a more cheerful personality and a new view on the world. And Lilith, who could emerge from Morrigan independently, was a part of her newfound "sister," her soul connected to her's.

One day, Morrigan had met the half-demonic immortal "The Revenant" Shaed Bloodgrave, the two had fallen in love with each other after a romantic night together. It was at this moment that Lilith had suddenly found herself separate from her sister, with her own soul and her own body as a full-blooded succubus. What's more Morrigan was no longer a succubus; instead, she had become a goddess, a reward for the newfound love she had felt for the immortal warrior. The two became married shortly thereafter.

Now a free spirit, Lilith enjoyed her new life as a succubus, immersing herself in every pleasure and every fetish known to man, gaining power and life from her sexual adventures, so much so she became known as "The Original Horny Little She-Devil" as a popular personality in the EAW, and in Shaed's family-like stable of the Knight Cross, and for a while, also appeared as a color commentator alongside Megan Eko, much to Eko's dismay, considering Lilith's constant flirting. And when the Knight Cross eventually went its separate ways, Lilith too went her separate ways, leaving the EAW for a time, until recently, when she returned to the EAW as one of its bookers.

Lilith remains a part of the EAW's booking commitee, still as eternally horny as ever, with a more than promiscuious relationship with the Girls of Goth, in particular Sin.
